Objective: To create an IMC Program that promotes DIY living.

Current Perception: The DIY Network is seldom heard of.

Big Idea: Creating the TV show, “DIY Possible,” showcases emerging talent and how possible DIY projects are. This will serve as an inspiration for every day peoples to do DIY projects of their own and showcase their work via Social Media with competition.


Projected Result: As an extension of the TV show, “DIY Challenge” invites consumers to take on a weekly social competition with sponsorship by The Home Depot. Kiosks are set up in Home Depots through out the U.S. for consumers to attain information, and take on the challenge. Competitors post their submissions with Twitter. Friends and fans then vote by tweeting the competitor’s user name and hashtag, #DIYC.
